The Spotlight

"Outside the Spotlight" is a design exhibition based around designers and artists who were kept out of the spotlight of design history education as a result of their identity. The project targeted scholars and art students, offering a corrective lens on the canon of design history.

As both Designer and Developer, I was responsible for the branding kit, promotional materials (posters, catalogs), animations, and the construction of Web-AR applications to accompany the physical space. This was a long-term project exhibited in early December 2025.

The process involved overcoming significant challenges, including shifting deadlines and assuming additional workload when co-designers were overwhelmed. I expanded the avenues of interaction to ensure the exhibition remained engaging despite the logistical hurdles.
