The City of Hartford's Arts, Culture, and Entertainment department needed a brand identity that balanced the authority of a local government body with the inviting nature required to engage artists and the community. The goal was to seamlessly complement a wide variety of art and design styles without overpowering them.
Working in collaboration with Xavier Aviles (WifiCreative), my role was to develop a comprehensive branding kit. This included the primary and secondary logo files (AI, EPS, SVG, PNG), a distinct color palette defining the mood of the department, and strict typography details to ensure consistency across all municipal communications.
